JSON to XLSX

Convert JSON into a native Excel .xlsx workbook

Add JSON by paste, file or public URL, preview the table, select the fields you need and download a real .xlsx file with typed cells and a frozen header row.

A real Excel workbook

Unlike CSV, XLSX is Excel's native workbook format. Numbers and booleans remain typed, headers are styled and the first row stays visible while you scroll.

  • Native .xlsx download
  • Typed number and boolean cells
  • Styled, frozen header row

Built for safe browser use

Workbook generation happens locally and is limited to 100,000 rows and 1,000,000 data cells to avoid exhausting browser memory. Use CSV for larger exports.

Available with paid access

Native XLSX is included with a Power Pack, Standard or Pro plan. Free conversion remains available as spreadsheet-compatible CSV.

Common questions

What is the difference between XLSX and CSV?

XLSX is a native Excel workbook that supports typed cells and workbook features. CSV is a simpler text table that is more scalable and opens in many spreadsheet tools.

Why is XLSX limited to 100,000 rows and 1,000,000 cells?

A browser must assemble and compress the workbook in memory. The limit prevents unstable downloads; CSV remains available for larger files.

Does my JSON get uploaded to make the workbook?

No. Parsing and workbook creation run locally in your browser. Only account usage metadata is sent when paid limits are enforced.
