Why does Excel not show JSON as a normal table?
JSON stores structured labels, objects and lists rather than spreadsheet rows and columns. It needs to be transformed before Excel can show a conventional table.
Can Excel import JSON without an online converter?
Yes. In supported desktop versions, choose Data, Get Data, From File, then From JSON and transform the data in Power Query.
